The Greeneville Hiking Club of Greeneville, Tennessee was founded in 1984 to hold hikes in Greene County, the Cherokee National Forest, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the surrounding area. Day hikes are scheduled year round every weekend. The club now has a roll of over 125 members and has expanded our activities to include cycling and water related activities such as canoeing and river rafting. We have a very active group of bike riders that hold road rides nearly every weekday when the weather is favorable. Occasional weekend or longer bicycle, backpacking and car camping trips are held. The club is very involved with trail maintenance and community service. EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO JOIN IN ANY OF OUR ACTIVITIES.
